Academics

Liberty High School (LHS) is a four-year high school located in Liberty, Missouri. Its current enrollment is over 1,800 which rapidly increased with the addition of the freshman class for the first time during the 2013-2014 school year. LHS is one of two high schools in the Liberty Public School District, alongside Liberty North High School (Liberty, Missouri) which opened in 2010. Liberty High School has two feeder middle schools, Liberty Middle School and Discovery Middle School.

In addition to the excellent fine arts, athletic, and general extracurricular activities and programs that Liberty High School provides, LHS has never failed in its commitment to always promote academics first. Students gain college level experience with difficult coursework while still having the small and intimate class sizes that best promotes learning. All admitted students have access to phenomenal educators that have been carefully selected by the district to provide the best high school and pre-college education possible.
