Broadcasting (KLHS)

Broadcasting is a full year, Practical Arts credit AND MVA credit course focusing on hands-on aspects of journalism including: technical work, writing, production and more. Staff members work together to produce a daily broadcast and live sports games on ESPN3. Members begin as reporters, but over time, progress to leadership positions which includes Directors and Producers.  All students must have a working knowledge of premier and basic broadcast journalism practices. An extensive interview, application process and a prerequisite of Broadcasting 1 is required.
