Academic Letter

  • We are committed to celebrating our students' academic achievement. All current freshmen, sophomores, juniors and seniors that receive a 3.5 cumulative (year long) GPA or higher are eligible for receiving an Academic Letter. Achieving an Academic Letter is an excellent accolade to add to academic resumes and college applications.
  •
  • After grades have been finalized, we will compile a list of eligible students. Academic Award Certificates and Letter/Pins will be awarded at the end of each school year for seniors and awarded during the following Fall Semester for all other students.
    •
    • *We will email eligible students and families in the above listed timeframes.
*Students must receive a minimum 3.5 cumulative (year long) GPA in order to be eligible.

  • All eligible students will receive a certificate upon request. Award recipients will have the opportunity to purchase a Liberty High School chenille letter for $8 and/or an Academic Pin for $1. All certificates, letters and pins can be purchased and picked up in the Counseling & Social Workers Office.

Make sure parent/guardian email addresses are correct in PowerSchool. Communications regarding Academic Letter eligibility will be sent to the email addresses listed in PowerSchool.

  • Any questions about the Academic Letter or the Academic Letter process can be sent to Krista.Quinn@lps53.org.
